I have been playing chess for several years, and during this time it has become much more than just a game for me. What started as a simple curiosity gradually turned into a true passion that continues to challenge and motivate me every day. I currently have a Blitz rating of around 1800 ELO on Lichess, which reflects the many hours I have dedicated to improving my understanding of the game, studying positions, and learning from both victories and defeats.
Throughout my chess journey, I have participated in several local tournaments, where I achieved good results and gained valuable competitive experience. These events helped me develop not only my technical skills, but also important qualities such as concentration, discipline, resilience, and the ability to stay calm under pressure. Facing different opponents and styles has been one of the most rewarding aspects of tournament play.
Chess has had a very positive impact on my life. It has taught me how to think critically, plan ahead, and accept mistakes as part of the learning process. More importantly, chess is one of the best things that has ever happened to me. It has given me purpose, enjoyment, and a constant desire to grow, both as a player and as a person.
